How are the paver bricks installated ?

Paver bricks can be produced by paver molds or machines. After demoulding and drying, and after a period of maintenance, they can be used for installion. After the paver bricks are transported to the construction site, let’s take a look at how to operate them ?

1. Construction preparation

(1) The paver bricks size are 200*100*50 .

(2) Cement: use ordinary silicate 32.5 grade.

(3) Sand: medium sand, the mud content should not be more than 3%, the particles should be uniform and the particle size should be generally not more than 5mm.

(4) Lime: The ash that has been digested is used, digested and sieved 1 to 2 days before use, and its particles should not be larger than 5mm.

2. Construction steps

1. Determine the elevation of the bottom of the groove according to the design drawings, and also confirm the location of the ground drainage outlet, and adjust the elevation of the bottom of the drainage ditch pipe to make the connection between the square ground and the surrounding level more natural, and minimize the contradictions in drainage and passage. Finally, a frog tamper was used to compact the plain soil base.

2. Lime-soil cushion construction The Panax notoginseng lime-soil cushion of this project is 15cm thick, and the mixing ratio is strictly controlled; it is stirred evenly and compacted with a frog tamper. Edges, corners and small areas are vibrated and compacted manually or by small machines to ensure the compactness of the base. Before tamping, water should be properly sprinkled according to its dryness and wetness and climatic conditions to maintain the optimum water content of the crushed stone, generally 8%-12%. The number of times of tamping or rolling is determined by field tests. It is necessary to tamp and press half-tamp, line by line, and comprehensively tamp, generally no less than 3 times. The edges and corners should be compacted by hand or frog tamper.

3. Tile paving construction

(1) The cement, sand and mixing ratio used in the mortar for laying bricks should meet the design requirements and specifications (1:3 dry-hard mortar 60 thick paving tiles).

(2) Construction technology: base cleaning – laying mortar for bonding layer – elastic control line – laying bricks – drawing seams – trimming – caulking.

(3) After cleaning the base layer, make ash spots according to the drainage transverse slope and longitudinal slope, lay dry hard cement mortar, lay bricks with lines, and use a rubber hammer to hammer the road bricks. For hollowing phenomenon, during the paving process, use 3m aluminum alloy to check the surface flatness at any time, and straighten the brick joints that are not straight, and keep the joint width between 2mm-3mm. After the mortar is solidified, use dry mortar to sweep the joints, and sprinkle water to seal the joints and water for maintenance.

(4) In the process of paving tiles, pay attention to the smooth connection with the adjacent structures of the curb, and do not reverse the slope. The appearance is required to be consistent, straight and beautiful

(5) Quality requirements: stable paving, no warping, smooth surface, straight seam, uniform seam width, full filling seam, no warped edge, warped angle, reverse slope, and water accumulation. The deviation should be within the allowable range specified in the specification.
